Judith (Arkle) Giraud
Co-founder and CEO
With a degree in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Bristol, Judith began her career as a senior export manager at the Ubifrance (now Business France) office in London, helping French SMEs onto the UK market, with a specialisation in IT, services and biotechnology. Judith joined Orium in 2011 in order to implement an international development strategy (sales, marketing and communications), principally in Europe and North America.
Judith continued this project with Viapost after Orium was acquired by the La Poste Group in 2012, accompanying French e-commerce companies in their international expansion and also North American and European retailers in and across Europe. Judith left Viapost in November 2016 in order to co-found Become Global of which she is CEO.
Co-founder and Consultant
Emmanuel Giraud has acquired over 20 years experience in the fields of distance selling and the internet where he was notably involved in launching the direct sales division of NEC Computers, which he headed up for 2 years before co-creating several internet start-up companies. After Insudiet, Emmanuel joined Orium in 2008, pionner of e-commerce fulfilment in France, becoming Deputy CEO in charge of Sales, Marketing and International business. Following the acquisition of Orium by the La Poste Group, Emmanuel focused entirely on international business development at Viapost and Asendia. Having obtained an executive MBA from ESCP Europe in 2015, Emmanuel now lectures at Paris Dauphine University in the International Supply Chain Masters and is a guest lecturer at the IAE in Nantes on the E-Commerce bachelors programme. Emmanuel has been a member of both the ASLOG and ACSEL associations where he respectively participated in the launch of the e-commerce commission and the "Cross border e-commerce" publication. Emmanuel is currently a consultant for Become Global.
